    Today, my laptop has decided I cannot sign in with finger print. I checked into settings and says this option not available. Also noticed that it says I do not have a camera now.

    Fingerprint login no longer works

    I upgraded my HP Envy-15t Laptop to Windows 10 recently and the fingerprint login feature was working just fine for over 3 months.

    Today, I tried to add another finger print for my spouse using the sign-in options under Accounts setup. The fingerprint option did not work for her. Then I tried removing all fingerprints and set up my fingerprint again.

    Now, the fingerprint does not work at all. It comes up with 'authentication failed - please try again' message.
    I really liked the fingerprint option to login and want to restore that feature back. Please help.

    Windows Hello Fingerprint not working

    This is still not working after doing all those steps, please help after the Windows update it stopped working and it says the following : we couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello fingerprint.

    After taking all the steps you suggested on here it says i have the latest update.

    I also tryed safe mode, it still didn`t work on it. and Glucofacts Deluxe STILL does not work, so... you say that you don`t know how it started working on win 10 for you?
