Windows 10: Fingerprint not working and I accidentally deleted biometric/goodix/i dont rlly know what...

Hi, I'm using the Lenovo Yoga 7 14ITL5. I recently notice my fingerprint was not working for me to sign in, so the past hour I've been searching and trying to get it back with the suggestions found on both the Windows and Lenovo websites with nothing working. Ultimately I thought I'd uninstall the goodix finger print driver thing, thinking it would either come back itself or i could redownload/restore it. As it turns out, I can no longer find the biometrics tab in Device Manager, and my fingerprint scanner still says "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Finge

Thanks for all the advice...I did them all...under biometrics (still hidden) the goodix fingerprint scanner hardware says I must re-connect hardware to computer...well it comes built in with my Lenovo S740 ideapad...Goodix website does not offer update...I
did update it from Lenovo and it still says re-connect to computer....I removed the windows update and still nothing...I can't be the only one...it's a frustrating mystery...it worked fine for months...???

Just did a system restore and under device manager, hidden devices, my goodix fingerprint scanner is visible now.. it now says Hardware device is not connected to the computer (Code 45), re-connect to the computer??? At least I can see it now under Biometric

Microsoft does not maintain any vendor-specific drivers.

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacture.

• oem11.inf means one of the manufacturer's custom driver series.
  

Such drivers are provided directly by the manufacturer, not by Microsoft.

Therefore, it is very likely that the file in the above link is not the appropriate driver for your machine.
