Windows 10: Fingerprint Recognition Currently Unavailable After reinstalling driver from manufacturer

I've been having an issue with my fingerprint reader not working. My Dell XPS 13 9345 ARM64 keeps showing the message: "This option is currently unavailable" and "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Fingerprint." It worked perfectly fine until about a week ago. I've tried installing the driver from Dell's website and restarting my laptop, and it works every time I reinstall it, but the problem comes back later. The driver I keep reinstalling is the Goodix Fingerprint Sensor Driver. After it stops working, it's not listed in Device Manager, and when I reinstal

Windows Hello Fingerprint recognition "This option is currently unavailable"

Device: Flex 5-14ALC05 Laptop (ideapad) - Type 82HU running Windows 11 22H2

I have run into this issue twice now, I am unable to set up the fingerprint recognition. The first time this happened, I tried reinstalling drivers to no avail. However, after a week I was randomly given the option to set up a fingerprint on the sign-in screen. After setting one up, I was able to use my fingerprint for a week before losing access to it and the "This option is currently unavailable" message was displayed in settings. The second time this happened, I decided to reset my PC and it worked, I was able to set up a fingerprint to use as a sign-in method. The success was short-lived and as soon as I put my PC to sleep to ensure that I could sign in with a fingerprint, the option was gone and the "This option is currently unavailable" came back.

The system reset was my last resort, I am not sure what I should do now. What steps should I try in order to fix this issue?

 

Can I have fingerprint recognition and facial recognition simultaneously active as sign-in options?

I used to have fingerprint recognition on my laptop setup as a sign-in option. I then setup facial recognition as well. Now I can't sign-in using the fingerprint sensor. Is it possible to have both active? Sometimes one is more convenient than the other.

I tried to go to settings to turn fingerprint recognition on and it's listed as currently unavailable.

I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2.
