Hello, I recently purchase HP Pavilion laptop from China. I reinstall the windows 11 pro for English language. Before installing window I checked in old built in window, my fingerprint scanner was working ok but after installing new window it didn't work. I tried to by changing "power management" settings. I also uninstall the driver and then install the new one from HP official website. this didn't work. It still give this error: Close windows Hello, then try again through the setup again. I even visited at HP service centre but they also unable to find the solution. Does anyone guide here!

Windows Hello fingerprint recognition

My laptop got a fingerprint scanner, but I can't use it to sign in. This is what it says in the settings: "There is no fingerprint scanner that is compatible with the Windows Hello fingerprint recognition." What can I do?

 

Deleting Windows Hello Facial Recognition and Windows Hello Fingerprint

I want to delete both facial recognition and fingerprint in windows hello and just keep pin. How is this done?

 

Windows Hello is not an option in my Sign-in window. Please help?

Windows Hello is for biometrics (fingerprint and facial recognition). Since you don't show a fingerprint reader or facial recognition (Intel F200 webcam), you won't see Windows Hello listed on the right side in your screenshot.
