Windows 10: Fingerprint recognition

HelloCan someone help with my sign in options unfortunately it is not letting me do fingerprint recondition and I am not sure why? When I click on it says we couldn’t find a finger print scanner compatible with window hello finger print. I have got a Microsoft soft pro laptop.

Can I have fingerprint recognition and facial recognition simultaneously active as sign-in options?

I used to have fingerprint recognition on my laptop setup as a sign-in option. I then setup facial recognition as well. Now I can't sign-in using the fingerprint sensor. Is it possible to have both active? Sometimes one is more convenient than the other.

I tried to go to settings to turn fingerprint recognition on and it's listed as currently unavailable.

I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2.
