Windows 10: Fingerprint sensor is on the laptop but showing "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner...

HSN-q33c-4This is the id written on the bottom of my laptopIt's Hp 640 i5 12 geng9 elitebook.I have surfed the browser and couldn't solve the issue myselfthere is no biometric option in device manager so I don't know how to get that fingerprint availableAlso, there is mentioned there is back-light for these systems but for my laptop, there is none, I don't know whyalso, the f9 key is blank where normally its back-light symbolI couldn't find any solution related to it onlineIf anyone knows about these issues kindly help me out

Fingerprint Scanner on laptop

I use a DELL inspiron 3584 laptop and it has a built-in fingerprint scanner on the power button but Windows can't seem to find anything about a fingerprint sensor yet on the manual that came with this it says power button = power on/off + fingerprint scanner
yet nothing comes up about fingerprint sensor's. If anyone can find a solution to this I will be very grateful. Thanks.

 

Fingerprint sensor stopped working

I recently purchased an Acer Spin 3 SP313-51N, and the fingerprint sensor has stopped working. While I was trying to login using the sensor, there was a message that said "there was a problem on our end," so I tried to troubleshoot the problem by restarting. Only now the fingerprint sensor has entirely disappeared from the operating system and is no longer listed in device manager. I have tried installing the driver from Acer's website but the fingerprint sensor still doesn't appear anywhere, and Windows Hello is disabled, with the message "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Fingerprint"

 

Fingerprint scanner not working

Sir I have a Windows 10 HP laptop, on which I had been using the fingerprint scanner as a sign-in option. But since a few days, my device is showing that it cannot find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Fingerprint. Please suggest me
what i should do.
