Finish linking on your PC. Select Start and open the Your Phone app. Follow the instructions and sign in Instructions are : From the Your Phone app on your PC,select send notification. Where is this setting? Cannot find a link for notifications on PC app



Round and round I go .. Over a period of a year, this app has sometimes worked. Usually not. I want my text messages on my PC


Have spent hours and hours trying to solve > even with support from tech company.


WHAT AM I MISSING? AND AGAIN WHERE IS A LINK FOR SEND NOTIFICATION ON PC 'YOUR PHONE COMPANION' ON MY COMPUTER?

You can do this in the following way, remembering that by linking your Android phone to your computer, you can start tasks on the phone and continue them on the computer without interruptions.

Steps to follow:

1. On your PC, select the Start button and then select Settings> Phone.

SUGGESTIONS:

If you do not see the Phone option in Settings, you are not running Windows 10 version 1709 or later.

To install the latest version of Windows 10, select the Start button and then select Settings> Update and security and select Check for updates

2. Select Add a phone and follow the instructions to enter the phone number.

3. Search for a text message from Microsoft on your phone. Once you receive the message, open it and click on the link.

4. The link will open the App Store (on iPhone) or Google Play Store (on Android phones) in a Microsoft application that links your phone and computer. Install the application.

5. Once installed, open the application, log in with Microsoft and see the section "What can I do after I've linked my phone and the computer?" following.

Here's how you can link your phone to your PC:

• On your PC, click the Windows key, then select Settings > Phone.
• Select Add a phone, enter your phone number, then click
  Send.
• On your phone, check if you received a text message from Microsoft. If you receive the text, open it, and then tap the link.
• It will open the App Store or the Google Play Store to a Microsoft app that links your phone and PC. Install the app.
• Once installed, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+. I've done everything you suggested but no luck. It was working until I did an in-place upgrade to fix something else, it hasn't worked since.

I give up with it now.
