    Fire-wire audio device not working correctly after Win 10 updates 1903 and 1909


    Our Fire-wire audio device does not respond correctly when changing Sampling rates or Buffer sizes making our hardware inoperative.

    These issues appeared directly after the 1903 win 10 update and continues also on 1909 Win 10 update.

    Before these updates all worked normally.

    Is there a bug on these updates, or has Microsoft changed the way that fire-wire audio devices work?

    Multiple PC's brands has been tested with our audio hardware resulting to the same problem.

    Our drivers for the audio device in use are signed under the name TC Group A/S.

    Fire Wire Audio interface

    Looking for driver updates for Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 firewire interface and Windows 10, The audio is not working or occasionally plays intermittently. The fire wire connected light on interface is intermittent.

    Windows 10 1903 1909 repeated failure to update

    Well would't you know it. I did everything, every step, all the suggestions, months of failed downloads and was going to wipe everything tomorrow and start again, but remembered I hadn't tried your suggestion of updating to 1809 before 1903/09, and blow
    me down, but it's updated to 1809 with ease!

    I have yet to dare to try and get it to update to 1909 but it's the 1st progress in months, so thanks.
