Windows 10: Firefox blocked with 'Family Features', despite not making any changes

Discus and support Firefox blocked with 'Family Features', despite not making any changes in User Accounts and Family Safety to solve the problem; This problem has been bugging me for a few days.     Firefox blocked with 'Family Features', despite not making any changes


    This problem has been bugging me for a few days. I am indeed registered as a member of a family, but the leader of the group hasn't made any changes from her settings. The thing is, chrome works just fine although the search filter is on which is said to block every other browser except ms edge. Firefox uninstaller is killed everytime I click 'delete' for unknown reason, so reinstalling is not an option to me. Some of the changes I made last week were installing winevdm https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/releases and changing the registry key https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1taw

    ms family is blocking firefox

    Despite trying to remove all restrictions on my child's account, MS family protection continues to block Firefox.

    When the child opens firefox, it says 'ask your parent for permission'.

    I get the permission request on my end in MS Family, I approve it and grant the permission, yet it still blocks firefox.

    I've deleted his account and re-created it. Firefox opens on his laptop if i log in under my credentials.

    Microsoft Family Features - Disabling Access to Firefox Despite Being Disabled

    I have completely disabled microsoft family features. Despite this, firefox still refuses to launch, with a dialogue box stating "you need to ask an adult in your family if you can use: firefox". The option of ask by email causes a "something went wrong"
    message, with the Trace ID ITkJ7bkQyE693lvd.4.1

    I have reinstalled firefox repeatedly, clearing all it's files and such to no avail. I have disabled family features, I am over 18. Despite this, the issue persists.

    Thank you for any assistance you can give. I'm more than happy to give more information if it is required.
