    Firewall resetting help


    Running Windows 10, windows firewall resets after boot everytime. Using avast, tried turning it off, and restarted, no change
    Goal is to add rules to block the internet for certain programs, but is deleted after restarting
    I have found literally one other thread that has something to do with a different antivirus program

    Does anyone know if and how I can turn off the firewall protection for an individual program such as power point? I cannot open my class power points now that I have windows 10.

    I'd like to inform that there is no option to Turn Windows Firewall OFF for particular application.

    Firewall resetting help

    Try to reset it yourself, maybe it will knock some sense into it. Run CMD as admin and enter, then restart:

    netsh advfirewall reset

    tried ressetting it just from the windows firewall menu, but I will try this. Thanks
