Poking around Windows Firewall for the first time, I don't see any settings related to network adapter, but I wonder if the "local IP address" settings could be useful. Would the different adapters show up as different local IP addresses, in some way that is consistent enough to make a rule out of it?

    :)

  2. cannot connect to internet after upgrading to windows 10

I had a similar issue and worked out it was Bitdefender firewall settings. Check your firewall settings and set a rule to allow your adapters access.

  3. Windows 10 wont connect to internet

I worked out it was my firewall causing the issue. I use Bitdefender and the update for windows 10 blocked the network adapters. Setup a rule to allow the firewall access.
