    Firewall that'll block internet access for other programs & processes?


    Is there a good Firewall application that can effectively sandbox any program I choose, or any Window process and stop them accessing the internet?
    Also I want it to tell me:
    * What program is trying to access the internet
    * How often
    * What IP address they are sending to

    Don't mind paying a few $ for a good one.

    How to disable phone software (firmware) updates?

    Though updates are essential 4 device to function properly. But if u dont want it then block the internet access of the program through ur antivirus. For firewall-

    control panel- windows firewall- allow or block a program through firewall. There u'll find a list of programs & the types of network. Uncheck every box labelled Nokia on the list in all types of network.

    How to set my games to offline?

    If the games require Internet access to load content and levels, you can't block them or set them to work offline only.

    If they are offline games that use some Internet functionality, what you can do is press Windows key + A then toggle on airplane mode to prevent access to the Internet while playing the game.

    You can also launch the Windows Firewall and block the game from accessing the Internet.

    You can try TinyWall, Evorim Firewall, Simplewall Firewall (still in beta but good), xVirus Firewall as 3rd party firewall additional suggestions.

    How about Binisoft Windows Firewall Control..? Though it's not free.
