Windows 10: Firewire card causing BSOD

Hi,I have recently encountered an issue where using an outboard sound card Profire 610 via Firewire creates an instant BSOD with the error message WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. My system is a Ryzen 5 3rd Gen specs below. I have used both the Firewire card together with the Profire on a previous much older Intel system with no issues.The Firewire card and the Profire both seem to work fine, they appear in the Device manager without any errors. The Profire's driver screen identifies that it is on and connected, and the volume meters even respond when I plug in a microphone and test the levels.

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the motherboard?

Movimaker and Firewire problem

Hi.

I have tryed that and a number of other options.

Now I have given up and returned the PCIe FireWire 1394a Card (F-261) to the retailer.

Do you have any suggestion on other Firewire I/F card that you know works for Windows 10 ?

20H2 and Firewire/Audio issues

I have a MOTU Ultralike MK3 which I have connected through Firewire on my desktop.

My specs:

• ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 Motherboard
• AMD 3800X
• 32 Gb DDR4
• Vantec PCIe Firewire interface with Ti chipset

Before my upgrade to 20H2 - my playback was quite stable but since this upgrade, I'm getting a bunch of weird playback glitches. That is not even under load. I just play a file in JRMC with the ASIO interface and I get multiple drop-outs glitches. The playback
definitely stops for 1 sec or so, there is no level showing up anymore during that second on my audio interface.

I changed two times already the firewire cable, and the firewire card as well.

My bios doesn't have a lot of options and I have the legacy 1394 driver installed which used to work quite nicely.

Any suggestions?
