    Firmware upgrade on French Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard


    Hi,

    I got a brand new Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard with french Azerty layout.


    Parenthesis keys on numpad are sending 9 and 0 instead of parenthesis.


    The firmware version of the keyboard is 0100.


    According to Résoudre les problèmes liés à votre souris ou clavier Microsoft, using the keys requires to switch langage which is not an option in my opinion.


    Is there a way to upgrade the keyboard firmware with version 0106 which seems to allow parenthesis keys to work normally with french langage ?

    Bought Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 French version by mistake

    Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 French version bought by mistake. It says it comes with a French hardware cd. If I'm just going to use plug & play will it user the English hardware/setup

    Can't delete french keyboard input!


    For some reason, on my mother's PC on which a guy upgraded the PC from Windows 7, the French of France keyboard will not allow to be deleted. The France French keyboard is not in the list of input methods but it still shows in the language bar.

    Windows is in French and the main language is French from France. It is the same here on my own computer and I do not have the French France keyboard, only French Canada.

    Is there any solution ?

    Microsoft is only the real provider of fairly priced ergonomic keyboards. Others start to get far more costly.
