Windows 10: First 10 percent brightness not working / irresponsive on Windows 10 laptop!!!

Recently replaced damaged display on my Windows 10 laptop with a compatible one similar specs. Since then, first 10 percent of brightness control is not working / responding as it used to be, but afterwards just fine and noticeable for every percent. I tried uninstalling updating installed "Display drivers" as well as "Monitor drivers" in Device Manager. Unfortunately, didn't work. Any help on this regard will be highly appreciated. Thank You.

On my Dell 5559 Windows 10 , brightness not working.

Have tried few steps from youtube videos but did not work.

Please guide.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

Hi Ella,

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
