    facebook messenger problem

    This is all because Facebook has stopped the support for older OS'ses.

    I think you have Windows phone 8.! or an older OS. Those are now not supported by Facebook messenger.

    If your phone is listed as upgradeable to windows 10 mobile, you should consider to upgrade.

    facebook messenger does support Windows 10 mobile.

    If you phone is not upgradeable to windows 10 mobile you will have to start using the Facebook website messenger options.

    Or get a new phone.

    Do you mean the Facebook Messenger App?

    Facebook (the app developer) has stopped the support for Windows phone 8.1 and older OS'ses.

    The Facebook messenger App supports Windows 10 mobile, so you have to upgrade your phone to Windows 10 mobile. (640xl is supported for upgrading to windows 10 mobile)
