    Hi,


    we have a custom developed application that is based on eclipse rich client plattform https://wiki.eclipse.org/Rich_Client_Platform and running on "OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM AdoptOpenJDKbuild 25.282-b08, mixed mode".


    When restarting my windows 10 20H2 and starting the app the "Antimalware Service Executable" blocks everything for about 40-60 seconds. When then closing the app and starting it again the app starts instantaneously.


    When setting horus.exe my executable as an "process exclusion" for Defender, it is always fast.

    How can I find out what Defender is doing there? How can I speed this up?


    The app itself has a digital signature, but that does not help :-

    Any ideas?
