Windows 10: first time doing this, a bit desperate right now

so where should i start,this morning my laptop is all fine, then when i used it afternoon it suddenly becomes weird, i can't use my taskbar it always shows the buffering thing then i suddenly became able to use it after 15 minute to 1 hour, second, when i somehow managed to open chrome its says im logged out and i can't use my zenmate vpn so i cant use reddit either, third, my discord doesnt launch, it says update failed retrying in xxx seconds and it keeps doing that over and over, fourth, my online games crashes ???, when i tried seeing what happens at task manager my honkai im

Color bit depth is at 6-bit on Display properties of Windows 10 pro

Try the below suggested steps and check if the suggested options are available to change the Color bit Depth value

1. Right click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
2. Expand the Display, and then highlight the Change resolution.
3. On the right side, check if there is 8 bpc listed under
   Output color depth.
4. You may select 8 bpc and restart the device to witness the changes.

What to do in Ubuntu ?

I'm new to this Linux and its variants.

For the first time I'm stepping out of coziness of Windows . What do you guys use Linux for ?

Also I'm in college, will be doing Computer Science Engineering (Programming) . Anything to learn you guys can suggest ?

Already know a bit of C++, Photoshop.

I would also suggest you to manually set up your computer to synchronize with Windows time by following the steps below:

1. Type "date and time" in the search bar and open it.

2. Click on "internet time" tab.

3. Click on "change settings".

4. Check "synchronize with an internet time server"

5. Under server, select time.windows.com
from the drop down list.

6. Click on "update now" and click
ok.

7. Restart your computer and check if the issue persists.

Also make sure the time zone is set correctly by following the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + I

2. Click on "time and language".

3. Click on "date and time"

4. Choose the appropriate time zone from the drop down list.
