Windows 10: First time Windows activation after purchase through Microsoft Store giving error 0xC004F211

Hi,earlier today, I purchased the Windows 11 Home licence from the Microsoft Store. Money was taken from my account, I received the following email: "Your Microsoft order no. 4595159612 has been processed":I received no key, so I assume that it is automatically linked to my Microsoft account that I logged into in Windows.I now get the error code 0xC004F211. This is a brand new computer that I assembled, new Windows installation with Media creation tool. Never has a OS been activated with this this hardware.I clicked the button bellow for troubleshooting, chose the option that hardware was chan

Cannot activate Win10 Pro after Microsoft Store app purchase

Hello guys,

My laptop came pre-installed with Win10 Home 64bit and I recently purchased a Win 10/11 Pro licence from the Microsoft Store app. Unfortunately, having some issues activating the digital licence for Win10 Pro.

Here is the situation:

• Logged into Microsoft account used for the purchase (also received the email receipt of the purchase)
• Already connected to stable internet

What I tried so far:

Entering the Win10 Pro generic key:



Received error 0x800700005:





Clicking Close returned another error 0xC004F034:





Clicking Troubleshoot re-activated my Win10 Home so still not on Pro.

So I guess my suggestion of calling Microsoft and telling them you can't activate your purchased OS from their store doesn't count? *Huh
