Windows 10 Activation Error code: 0x8004FC12


Hi,

I recently upgraded my Dell Inspiron Laptop to Windows 10 Home from Windows 8.1 Home via Microsoft's media creation tool. I downloaded it onto a flash drive and used that to perform a clean installation. However, after the installation my laptop showed that Windows 10 hasn't been activated along with the error code 0xC004C003. I then reset my PC as suggested by some people. When I went back into the activation settings, it still displayed "Windows is not activated." There was an activate button though, which wasn't there before, but when I clicked on it, it said, "Windows can't activate. Try again later." When I clicked on error details, it displayed "Error code: 0x8004FC12" with no description.





Does anyone know why this is showing up? And if so, how can I fix it?

Windows 10 activation error 0x8004FC12

I clean installed windows 10 (using USB flash disk) on acer aspire 5738 on preinstalled window 7 home, but not able to activate:

• Clean installed Window 10 Pro.
• Later realsing window 10 Home is correct one to install- clean installed windows 10 Home.
• Not able to activate- used the "reset" option.
• now not able to activate (it is now more than a week)- error message

Error code: 0x8004FC12, can't activate


So I installed windows 10 a week back and was successfully able to activate it. After doing that, I did a clean install and was again able to activate it. Today, I had some problem with my computer not beeing able to find my wifi adapter, so I reinstalled windows 10 which solved that problem. Now however, I am not able to activate windows again. I get the Error code: 0x8004FC12. I've tried activating via the phone and the command prompt, neither has worked. Anyone facing the same problem or have any solution?
