    HP 15-r029wm Notebook PC windows 10 keyboard not working properly

    Hi,

    I realize that the keyboard is not working properly. I will try to help you with this issue.


    • Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?
    Suggest you to plug in an external keyboard to check if that helps.

    Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:


    • Press Windows key + R to get the run window.

    • Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    CD or download version ?

    BF 1942 is the only game I didn't bother trying to sort out when it failed to run on Win10.

    If you have not patched the game that would be the best place to begin, even if the patches do not help with

    launching the game.

    blocking the driver used by SafeDisk ( secdrv.sys ) with the launch of Win10. I have more details in my post at
