Fallout 4 Beta patch released

Bethesda has released the first patch for Fallout 4.

The update, which is currently available in beta form on Steam, offers a number of general memory and stability improvements, fixes several issues and crashes. There are also two new features available to try out that allow a keyboard’s number pad to be used for remapping and Remapping Activate now working on Quick Container.

The beta update is currently a work in progress, so if you’re interested in checking it out, be sure to back up your saved games just in case something happens while testing it. In order to take part in the beta, PC users will need to follow the instructions below:

1. Log into Steam

2. Right Click on Fallout 4 in your Library

3. Select Settings

4. Select Betas

5. A drop down menu will appear. Select Beta Update

6. Select OK.

7. Wait a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update.

8. When done, Fallout 4 should appear as Fallout 4 [beta] in your Library

Here’s the full patch list for beta update 1.2.33:

• Number pad keys can now be used for remapping
• Remapping Activate now works on Quick Container

Fixes

• General memory and stability improvements
• Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions
• Fixed issue with When Freedom Calls where the quest would not complete
• During Confidence Man, fixed issue where player's health would continuously regenerate
• Fixed crash related to jumping into water and reloading saved games
• Fixed issue where Launcher would not save God Rays Quality setting properly

Video and audio stuttering

Hi,

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you in resolving your stuttering issue with Video and Audio. I would suggest you follow the below fixes one by one to resolve the issue.

Fix #1:

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type CMD

Step 2:

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 3:

Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press enter.

Step 4:

Restart PC and Verify

Fix #2:

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type Troubleshoot

Step 2:

Click on Troubleshoot

Step 3:

Then select Video Playback and click Run the Troubleshooter

Step 4:

Restart PC

Fix #3:

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type Troubleshoot

Step 2:

Click on Troubleshoot

Step 3:

Then select Audio Playback and click Run the Troubleshooter

Step 4:

Restart PC
