Windows 10: Fix for Windows Store updating apps over and over

Has there ever been a fix found for the Windows Store Windows 11 updating some apps over and over every other day? I have tried everything mentioned in the community and none of the suggestions work. I have even tried 'Fix problems without resetting your PC' and 'Fix problems using Windows update' and those work for a few days and then the Store starts to want to update the same apps over and over again.

Windows Store not updating existing apps

We may need to resolve the Windows Update error first, so that you can update the apps on the
Windows Store. Let's refer to this article. Here are the suggested steps to follow:

• Choose the version of your Windows (Windows 10).
• Select No under Step 2 (Run the Windows Update troubleshooter).
• Download the most recent KB. If you have done this step, click
  No to proceed to Step 4.
• Run the DISM command. Follow the steps that will be provided.

Thanks for your response.

I tried the above steps you listed out.

The first fix it suggested was to RE- DOWNLOAD all the Windows updates, which I (obviously) skipped.

It went on to other fixes and apparently fixed a host of other issues.

Then, ,

1. I started the Windows Store app

2. Signed out.

3. Exited the app

4. Started the Windows Store app

5. Signed in

But the problem persists. I am still unable to update any apps in the Windows Store.

What can we try next, please?
