Windows 10: Fix login to Microsoft Account and OneDrive with conflicting business and personal account...

Apparently, I have two Microsoft accounts associated with the same email address — a personal one and a business account set up by my former employer’s IT department. I had no idea this setup even existed until I recently started using Windows again at home on a personal machine.Now I’m running into issues connecting to various Windows services, particularly OneDrive. For instance, I can sign in to my personal Microsoft account through the system settings and link my local user to Microsoft 365 services. I can even install and use the apps. However, I can’t sign in to OneDrive when prompted by

Yea, I would create a local account and just use your school account to login to Outlook and Onedrive.

Edit:
Here switch between local and microsoft account.

 

Personal and Business Account on Same Desktop

Below is what I got:

• I don't know why the first one is there so I can probably delete it;
  
• The second one is my Microsoft Account (personal);
  
• The third one is my Business account. It has a Microsoft Exchange email account associated with it;
  
• The last one is a new account I created in the last few days while trying to resolve this issue. It is a local account with no email address associated with it.
  

So, ideally, I'd like is to have the Business and Personal accounts (middle two accounts) and be able to switch from one to the other.

• My Business account (third one listed) includes an MS 365 Business subscription which includes MS Business apps, Onedrive etc .
  
• My personal account (second one listed) is an MS account which includes an MS 365 Family subscription which includes MS personal office apps, Onedrive etc .

1. Login to OneDrive.com.
2. Click the ? Help icon on the top banner of the page.
3. Select Email OneDrive support for the further assistance.
