    Fix my Microsoft Account


    Ever since I did the 1607 update I am getting a message to "fix" my Microsoft account so that apps can use other devices.
    I have always used a local account to log in.
    What is it actually asking me to do?

    After the latest windows update I cannot open my browsers or setup menu on my
    pc - I get an error message which reads -

    "you need to fix your microsoft account for apps on your other devices to be able to launch apps and continue experiences on this device"

    I can login to my microsoft account on other devices and everything appears normal. My desktop looks normal but I cannot open a browser. I am connected to the internet.

    What can I do?
