windows 10 update trying to install fix for sql server 2005 KB960089. But SQL server 2005 not installed.

Sql server 2005 was removed before the upgrade to windows 10.

It is not in any program list that can be selected for removal.

Now it keeps trying to install the fix over and over. Error codes go by so fast that I can not see them,. and are not in any history .....

HELP !

Unable to install sql server in windwos 11

I have bought a new pc with windows 11 . I tried to install sql server 2017/2019 , both didn't worked .

Error with Database Engine services.

Database Engine services failed.

And I reset my PC . After reset i got a Windows.old file

Is it safe to delete this folder?

This takes 19GB in my disk

and Windows folder take 11 GB .

Is there a way to reset my PC same as when i bought , without having this redundant file , taking space of my disk ?

I am unable to install SQL in this windows version . Is it a known bug ?

How Do I Solve SQL Server 2022 Not Installing On Windows 11?

This software not installing has caused me to be a week behind in my college classes. Even my professors and tech support at school don't know why this isn't installing. I'm using Windows 11 on a ROG Asus laptop with an 8th Gen i7 and GEFORCE GTX so my hardware isn't the issue. There are no articles with a solution and no one is given a clear response from anyone at the company.

I get the error message saying " Oops... Unable to install SQL Server (setup.exe). Exit code (decimal): -2068119551". So if any community members or staff (probably not) want to step in and help a customer that'd be appreciated. I've followed other members suggestions to uninstall and reinstall all corresponding files to SQL Server and my C++ files. This is very frustrating and making me unable to participate in class.

On top of lack of staff interactions, I can't even select SQL Server as a product on this complaint. So I'm sure this won't be solved just like the other hundreds of people complaining about it.
