Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.

Unknown USB Device (Device Failed Enumeration)

Since upgrade to Windows 10, I am getting the above error in device manager: Unknown USB Device (Device Failed Enumeration). This is related to the USB3 controller (Renesas) which is integrated on Intel Motherboard DH67BL. Despite trying the available
driver from Intel for Renesas USB3, this error continues and the Intel SMBus controller is not appering on the device manager and instead perhaps this unkwown device is appearing. I have tried updating the chipset utility. This hardware was and is working
perfectly on the Windows 8.1 installation (using dual boot). So, I don't see a firmware issue.
