Fix Windows Hello Could Not Turn onCamera on Windows 10Ive gone through the standard fixes, and had it working for awhile, but it seems that anytime WINDOWS updates are applied, it stops working and now it cant be reset, again. the computer is shared with another user who has their own login. I assume their setting should not change mine, as I have the administrator rights. It's a COMPAQ Notebook, Intel Core I7-6700 HP CPU @ 2.60hz, 4 cors, 8 logical pathsM9X67AV Very FRUSTRATED that WINDOWS can't keep their own OS system working when they send update

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Hello Can't Turn the Camera On

This has started in the last couple of weeks. I can sign in with a password or a PIN but I now get an error message that "Windows Hello couldn't turn on the camera."

• The camera is working for other purposes -- just not for Windows Hello.
• I tried updating the drivers but all indications are I've got the right ones.
• I tried re-setting up Windows Hello but it just won't access the camera.
• I checked Windows Update -- I am up to date.

What do I do next?
