Windows 10: Fixed: My keyboard layout setting keeps changing when I log into two different Windows...

The situation is this. I live in the UK and I have two laptops running Windows 10. One of them has a UK keyboard layout and the other one, a refurbished machine, came with a US layout. I went to language settings and added the US layout to my profile but every time I change to using the other laptop and use my network login, I have to select the other keyboard layout from the task bar. I know it is not a big deal but I often forget and end up typing " in an email address instead of @. The solution is to go to:

Settings->Accounts->Sync Your Settings

and turn off 'Language preferences' in the 'Individual sync settings' section. This will remove all your language settings from your login profile so they can be set independently on each computer you use. I could of course buy a replacement UK keyboard for my US laptop but I'm too stingy! Another tip is to add the US international keyboard layout to your local profile so it is just possible with some finger stretching key combinations to type characters such as pound sterling £ with shift+right alt+4.

Windows 10 keeps changing my keyboard layout

While using one program, and one program only, Windows 10 will randomly change my keyboard layout.

I use a Logitech wireless keyboard with "English US" layout and my laptop has a different layout. The problem is windows will insist on going back to my laptop keyboard's layout every once in a while (and I am sure I'm not pressing Ctrl+Shift by accident)

I did my research on this topic and so far there is no solution apart from people saying "use a keyboard with the same layout" or even "press Ctrl + Shift" to change the layout. The issue is: if someone had defined one particular setting to their computer
we should expect the OS to keep this setting.

And I believe the real question is, how to fix this bug?

  How many keyboard language have you installed?
  

If you have installed more than 1 keyboard language in your system, then I suggest you to remove the keyboard language other than default language and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to remove the language.
