Windows 10: Fixed Paint 3D - No Such Interface Supported

This worked for me.Click Settings > Apps > Scroll to Paint 3D > Click the 3 dots > Click Advanced Options > Scroll to Reset > Click Repair. If Repair doesn't work, click Reset under Reset. I had to do both.You can then either 1 right-click the photo, select open with Paint 3D or 2 open Control Panel > Default Programs > select Paint 3D and dedicate your file extensions of choice as the Paint 3D default.My Paint 3D has Microsoft Photos set as the default opening program for .jpg, .jpeg and .png file extensions which I had to get from the Microsoft Store or "No Such

Windows 11 Paint 3D No such interface supported

Hi,

i'm currently Windows 11 and i'm having issues with Paint 3D, when i want to open a screenshot from screenshot folder and only it send me a pop up message saying: No such interface supported.

I tried to fix and reboot the Paint 3D app but it didn't work, this issue only happens with screenshot, if i try to open the same screenshot image from ''desktop'' for examples or with another app such as the old Paint or PowerPoint it works.

So i guess the issue comes from the folder......maybe.

I suggest you follow the methods mentioned below and check if that helps:

Method 1: Fix problems with apps from Microsoft store. Refer the follow article for troubleshooting steps to fix issues with

paint 3D.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall paint 3D using Windows PowerShell (Admin).

1. Right click on start and click on Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Type Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.MSPaint | Remove-AppxPackage and then hit
   Enter.
   
3. Reinstall Paint 3D from Microsoft store.
