Windows 10: Fixing an error for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis on my PC

I’m having trouble trying to start PSO2 New Genesis and I got the error message MSCVP140.dll is missing. How do I fix this?! I wanna play!

i have done all the steps that i found to fix the problem on Microsoft but i am still getting the same error trying to install phantasy star online 2 any help would be appreciated.

I loved Phantasy Star on the Master System and Phantasy Star II on the Genesis. I'd actually prefer a newer offline version.

Got it, thanks. Now, after checking, that pso2.exe error is an exclusive game error, together with other errors & bugs of this game when it was launched, as per the official announcement by SEGA below.

At this stage, I suggest it's best to get in touch with the game developers (SEGA) for further support.
