Windows 10: Fixing Blank Windows Features

So Im not sure why but my windows seems to a bit corrupt/broken since the windows Features doesn't show anything when opened and I tried everything from DISM to sfc, I even downloaded a windows.iso to use as an image for DISM and even then it didn't work. and I mean the DISM returned errors which after searching everywhere, I couldn't find any solutions. Nothing that worked. I tried

'Turn windows features on or off' showing up blank


This link here will lead to another site and it shows an older version of Windows. Nevertheless, the suggested fix is applicable in Win10.

Windows features wouldn't show on windows 10, appears blank!

I installed windows 10 on my pc, I am trying to enable my .net framework and I understand that the way to go about this is through windows features, however my windows features box appears blank, I can't find the checkbox with all the options, I have followed the steps listed on various websites (run services.msc, enable modules installer if not already enabled etc,) still nothing! I would really appreciate if someone could assist me here. Thanks
