Hello all. Hope the holidays is doing everybody well. As title says : Fixing C: Stage 1: 4% 61356 of 1356544; Total: 1%; ETA: 999:00:00 Error message for last two weeks, stopped making progress at 4 percent help needed. This error message appeared as I tried to run my PC one day. I understand that it is sort of a hardware issue or hard drive issue/ disk issue something of that sort. For context I had downloaded a few things during weeks prior and I am guessing all the downloaded messed with my PC's disk or something like that I am not a tech guy and don't have a clue so that's just the wo

this the stage lasts more than an hour, and carries there even 1 percent

My PC was running very slowly and I was unable to really get to a regular power off so I had to do a manual shut down. When I turned the computer back on I was greeted with the automatic disk check and repair. I'm currently at the state of the title fixing
(C stage 3: 100% (0 of 0); Total: 99%; ETA: 0:00:00. and it has been hanging for over 30 minutes thus far. Is this a hanging loop or should I wait for it to try to work itself out? What would be my next steps in order to proceed if this doesn't complete?
