Windows 10: Fixing C Stage 1 Problem Disk Checking

Hi everyone I have a disk check problem. I restarted my PC 2 days ago and it went to "Fixing C Stage 1" . I left it for about 12 hours and after Stage 5 it went back to Stage 1, yesterday it did the same thing and went to stage 1 after stage 5, today the same. I shut it down then when I turn it on it goes straight to "Fixing C Stage 1" WITHOUT even saying "press any key to skip disk check within 8 seconds". It just goes straight to disk check I can't even log into the pc anymore. How do I go about this? Thank you in advance.

Fixing (C Stage 1

I updated my computer on Sunday. It restarted after the update but the log in screen would not boot up. It would not turn off so I removed the battery. After removing the battery I got the fixing (C) Stage 1. I let it run for 24 hours the first time but
it was running the cycle fixing c stage 1 and repairing errors. After that I removed the hard drive and attached it a school computer. The school computer wanted to format it but I said no because I didn't want to lose the files. Once I said no it made the
drive inaccessible. I put the drive back in the computer and it went straight to automatic diagnostic pc. I tried skipping the scan but then a get a blue screen that say it wasn't able to boot then it takes me to the repairing disk errors and fixing c stage
1 cycle. I tried turned on and off to get to the Windows Recovery to boot in safe mode but it won't allow me to do that. Is the drive gone? Is there a way for me to get my files? I really just want to get my files off of the drive.

Update: It just moved to stage 2. It is the first time it moved to stage 2. I am going to let it work and then update later to tell you all what happened.

 

Checking Disk Consistency

Ok i did as viper suggested, but it stops checking at stage 3. It is still saying the drive is dirty, and still needs to be checked. I did a defrag and a disk cleanup, and suggestions?

 

Fixing (C Stage 1

Here are two options:

• Retrieve them from your external backup medium.
• Boot the machine with the Repair Mode File Explorer

If you need to use the second option, do this:

1. Use a friend's PC to visit Lazesoft Recovery Suite Free, Free Windows System Recovery, Free Data Recovery, Free Windows Password Recovery, Free Disk Clone
2. Click Free Download Now
3. Run the downloaded file lsrshsetup.exe
4. Launch the program
5. Burn a USB Disk (up the top)
6. Boot the problem machine with this disk, then copy your files to an external disk.
7. When finished, use this event as an incentive to set up a robust backup scheme.
