  1. Fixing : Moved Apps to other storage than C: drive appearing Offline .

So I like to move most of my downloaded games through Microsoft store to a different storage than the C: partition so not to eat up the small space I assign to it so it can be de-fragmented faster (An ancient performance tweak I am accustomed to) .

So yesterday I was faced by an out of the blue symptom where the Tiles of all games and apps moved to the other partition all showing exclamation marks and wouldn't work giving error message : This app cant open. [App Name] cant open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected.

I started searching for a solution where it seems not even Microsoft knew what was going on or had an answer to that (Source : https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...7-09592f7d430e

Also suggestions on Youtubes that when this happen one aught to Uninstall then Re-Download/Install the Apps from store again (Source : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaTTagVA2m4) .

    However after trying different solutions before I go with the iffy one of having to Re-Downloading from store , I came across this Power Shell command that fixed it for me : Get-AppXPackage-AllUsers|Foreach{Add-AppxPackage-DisableDevelopmentMode-Register"$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

P.S Few things to note , it will take a while to execute (But won't keep you from using your PC Normally) , it will show some red errors for apps that are already working fine and needs no fix (Those are normal) and it also needs to be ran elevated (In a Power Shell that was ran as an Administrator) .

    That'd be all
    Cheers
    *Cool

    :)

  2. Cannot move or install apps on drive other than C:

I have a small SSD that has windows installed, and a larger SSD and HDD that I use to store the majority of my programs/files. When I try to install a game like Sea of Thieves or Zoo Tycoon on any other drive than my C drive, it fails during the install
step. I have tried reseting the store, double checked windows is up to date, restarted the computer multiple times (once even during the install), and ensured the date and time were correct. Even if the game is completely installed on the C drive, when I move
it via the apps part of the control panel using the move command, it fails during the last part of the transfer. I only have one user account and it has admin privledges.

I have not had problems installing programs or games on the other two drives before. I have only had problems with Sea of Thieves and Zoo Tycoon through the Windows Store. This makes me extremely hesistant to get any other apps on the store because I am
almost out of space to install on my C drive.

Is there anything else I can try so I can move the games onto another drive?

Fixing : Moved Apps to other storage than C: drive appearing Offline .

Windows apps can’t open (storage offline or disconnected). Only Specific drives

I have various Microsoft store apps on C drive, H drive, E drive, and N drive (all internal drives). I have "New apps are saved to" as the H drive.

Whenever I boot, windows keeps saying that the apps on E and N (only these drives) are offline and that the storage device is missing or disconnected. The drives work perfectly fine besides these windows apps. All other programs run fin, the drives are fully
    accessible.

The only temporary fix is to go into disk management and turn the affected drives offline and online, then windows immediately recognizes them and the apps launch fine.

If I move the apps to H or C, they work perfectly fine all the time.
