    Fixing windows/reinstall/keep getting an error


    I am "trying" to help a friend with windows 10. It keeps coming back to the error windows 10 an unexpected error has occured Error code: 0xc000000f"It will not automatically fix it or repair. I have scanned the disc, tried fixing mbr.Went to the media creation disk, which now will not allow you to create a dvd unless dual layered. I do have a 64 gig usb which I put the ISO on and thought I might get it that way, no help. I was going to try a start up disc, but it wants to erase everything on the usb now?Would that happen to be a startup disc I could burn to get to the .iso on the usb? Am

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

    Not sure how that works since I am on 8.1 and trying to get to 10. So I reinstall 8.1?
