Windows 10: flash drive no disk error

I used your installation tool for installing windows 10.

I used the option to create a flash drive media.

result "an unexpected error ocured"

when I try to access my flash drive I get the message "no disk in drive"

I want my 2 terabyte flash drive be fixed, It was working perfect.

This is a method to make a ntfs flash drive.

The trial and error step will be booting using Legacy BIOS...

Run CMD


1. diskpart
2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

2. select disk #
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

Usb flash drive, please insert disk into drive error?

i updated my computer and updated windows as the hardware troubleshooter suggested and that did not work

i tried diskpart and tried going through disk management as admin it does let me pick to change as the above pics show and i have windows 10 64 bit the usb is a monster digital 16gb usb
