Windows 10: Flash Drive Refreshing Constantly

Discus and support Flash Drive Refreshing Constantly in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I'm working on a flash drive that contains a lot of music.     Flash Drive Refreshing Constantly


    I'm working on a flash drive that contains a lot of music. The artists names are missing so I'm trying to edit the drive to include the artist name. When I get part way down the list, and while I'm working at editing the artist, the flash drive refreshes to the top item. It is then necessary to scroll back down to the artist I was editing. The flash drive going back to the top doesn't interfere with editing; however, it's a major pain to scroll back down to the artist I was working on. Is there any way to stop the flash drive from doing this? Thanks for your help. Windows 10 Home

    ...had the constant refresh problem
    Fixed it thus: First switching off WiFi, then right click on start button, select the shutdown sign off and select shutdown
    Then boot pc as normal - leave to do all its stuff - suggest about a couple of minutes - switch wifi back on and all was as it should be.

    Another:
    Uninstall IDT Audio (if installed).

    System Restore can be unreliable. Restore now doesn't work for me with a particular message which has rarely been reported.

    Having read the above, if no help, then basics:
    a. Does it happen in Safe Mode?
    b. Does it happen after a clean boot?

    In my new 2019 Subaru, I can't seem to get past a 16 GB Flash Drive - followed all the steps in the manual.

    CD to flash drive

    Hi Pam,

    There are several ways to copy your pictures from the CD to the Flash drive. One of which is by using the shortcut keys to copy and paste it.

    We suggest following the steps below:

    • Insert the CD and flash drive to your PC.
    • Use Cortana and type File Explorer then click it.
    • Choose This PC.
    • Open the CD drive.
    • If all the pictures are in a specific folder, press Ctrl + A
      on your keyboard to automatically choose all the pictures then, press Ctrl + C to copy it.
    • Afterwards, Open the Flash drive, choose the location where you want to copy the pictures then press
      Ctrl + V to paste it.
