Windows 10: Flash Drive showing "This Folder is empty" after choosing remove threat

Flash Drive showing "This Folder is empty" after choosing remove threat, which was detected during scan. Now, my flash drive is of 30 GB, 22 GB is showing empty and 8 GB is showing data. but when I click to open it, I get "This Folder is empty".

CD to flash drive

Hi Pam,

There are several ways to copy your pictures from the CD to the Flash drive. One of which is by using the shortcut keys to copy and paste it.

We suggest following the steps below:

• Insert the CD and flash drive to your PC.
  
• Use Cortana and type File Explorer then click it.
• Choose This PC.
• Open the CD drive.
• If all the pictures are in a specific folder, press Ctrl + A
  on your keyboard to automatically choose all the pictures then, press Ctrl + C to copy it.
• Afterwards, Open the Flash drive, choose the location where you want to copy the pictures then press
  Ctrl + V to paste it.

Copying movie to Flash Drive

One way on how to save and move files to a flash drive is by using the File Explorer in Windows 10. To assist you with your concern, to save your movie file to a flash drive, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Connect your USB flash drive to your PC.
• Navigate to the folder or location where you save your movie files.
• Right-click on the movie file and select
  Copy.
• Right-click on the Start menu, and select
  File Explorer.
• On the left-pane, double-click on This PC.
• Double-click on the drive letter that correspond to your USB flash drive.
• Right-click and select Paste.
• Wait for the process to complete the transfer.
• Once you’re done, you can safely remove your USB flash drive.

Remove DBR_BOOT folder from flash drive & hard drive

I have created a new recovery disc so do not need the OLD FILES stored on a flash drive. To remove the files from my flash drive, I plugged the flash drive in & found the BDR_BOOT folder was automatically copied to my hard drive. By right clicking on the
folder I found that there is no DELETE available to allow this to be deleted.

3 issues:

1. How can I delete the DBR_BOOT folder from my hard drive?

2. How can I remove the DBR_BOOT and SYSRECOVERY folders from the flash drive (would like to use it for general storage)?

3. Since the flash drive was reformatted when these files were copied to the flash drive, is it usable for general storage or will it need to be reformatted (if so, HOW)?

I'm using win 10.
