    My desktop is vulnerable. I checked the manufacturers site and no bios updates available. I'm going to check the ASRock site and see if they have a update. I still need to check the other computers.

    Just checked the Gigabyte website and found a new BIOS update for my B250M-D3H motherboard running an i5-7600 Kaby Lake processor.

    The information says “Update Intel ME for security vulnerabilities” so it looks like I’m covered.

    When I built the PC back in July the motherboard only had the F2 BIOS (bought the board in April). Since then I’ve updated it to F6 then F7 and now F8. At least the BIOS updating is easy these days… just copy the BIOS files to a USB stick and update using Q-Flash.

    So far I'm batting a thousand. I've checked two of my desktops. Both are vulnerable. Both do not have a new update for the bios. I have one more desktop and three laptops to go.

    How do I construct the search terms for the Asus site to find whatever they have since my system reports as vulnerable
    My Asus motherboard is model Prime Z270K Rev x and Intel i5-7600 - a renovation repair this past May 2017(mb,ram cpu, power supply)

    Possibly search for your motherboard model would be best, I searched for my G11CD pre built system model number, as don't know what exact board is in this system, nothing though

    I have been just doing that and did find exact results for the motherboard but no mention of updates. My system was a custom build originally and after the power supply blew this past spring the MB had to be replaced...so Intel replaced my long time use of AMD..I wonder how those who are vulnerable will be informed when there is a download available?

    By the way, some PC owners, those with "Off the shelf" PCs, like laptops, workstations, and so on, might not even get the needed BIOS update.

    A good example, my Lenovo H530, that originally came with Windows 8.1, hasn't had a BIOS/UEFI update since NOV 17th, 2016, and most drivers hav't been updated(from Lenovo) in there last 2 years either.
    So don't be surprised if the OEMs have stopped supporting your equipment.

    If it's a custom PC, you need to go to mobos page, or wait, and see in the motherboard manufacture sends an update.
    It can take some time, as the OEMs need to add the fix to the BIOS, and also their certificate, for every affected motherboard, and the takes time.
