    Flexible payment options needed for purchasing Surface products online from Microsoft.


    Hello everyone. I would like to make a suggestion regarding purchasing Surface products from Microsoft.com. Currently, Microsoft offers Surface All Access to those who make purchases in a Microsoft retail store. However, there are no finance options for those of us who purchase online from Microsoft. Please allow customers to make payments on physical devices using their own existing credit or debit cards.

    Hi Ryan,

    One of the factor why you're having issues purchasing an app in Windows Store is due to payment method settings. See this article:

    Troubleshoot problems with payment options     and follow the suggest troubleshooting steps.

    Let us know what happens after following the suggested troubleshooting steps.

    I understand the inconvenience you are facing currently.

    I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better.

    • Is this the first time your facing this issue?
    • Did you contact your bank, like the message suggests?
    I suggest you to retype your debit card number without spaces, commas, or other characters that aren't numbers and also verify that the billing address, expiration date, and name listed for your payment option are correct. If you are using a new payment
    option, verify that it has been activated.

    APO Option for Microsoft Account Payment Options

    • Where are you trying to add the APO address?

    Under "Account">""Payment Options">"Add Payment Option">"Choose Payment Option to Add">"Add a credit card or debit card", the drop down menu for "State" does not include AE or AP.

    • Are you getting any error message while updating the address?
    When I put "APO" in the "City" field, the error is: "Check the city in your address. There appears to be an error in it."
