Windows 10: Flickering Black Screen in Apps like Discord, Notion or Linear

Hello, I'm having issues with a flickering screen that turns black in random distances when an app like Discord, Notion or Linear is active on my main monitor. The issue does not appear when I'm only using 30 Hz, doesn't happen on the same monitor when using HDMI instead of DisplayPort cable, but does also not happen in games or in the Chrome browser or the task manager. I've tried to update drivers, but everything is up-to-date. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be, and what could be a possible fix?My machine: Intel Core i9-12900KFWindows 11 ProNvidia RTX 4070 Ti

• How often you see black/ flickering screen on your device?
• What is the make and model of your device?
• Is the issue of maximizing the screen confined to any particular game?
• Were you able to see any error code with this issue?

I would like to inform that screen flickering in Windows 10 is usually caused by incompatible apps or display drivers.

I suggest you to refer to the troubleshooting steps like Check to see if
Task Manager flickers, Uninstall an incompatible app,
Update your display driver from the Microsoft article about flickering screen and check if it helps.

For all those people who face this error please find below the easiest solution for this error.

1. First of all click on the Catalyst Control Center.
   
2. Now click on ‘3D Application Settings’.
   
3. All you have to do is change the ‘Wait for Vertical Refresh’ option to ‘On, unless application specifies’.
