Windows 10: Flickering Screen on Edge and other Microsoft Apps

After a few months from purchasing a Destop PC with intergrated graphics, When playing a video on Microsoft Edge or other Microsoft apps such as Windows Media player and Spotify Microsoft Store App the screen flickers causing the page to sometimes freeze. The issues only resolves it self when refreshing the page a few times. This has been going on for months now and the issue comes and goes over time. Processor: IntelR PentiumR Silver J5040 CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHzIntel UHD Graphics 605. I would very much appreciate some advise on the best way to resolve this.

can someone help me in resolving the screen flickering issue in windows 10 lumia 640 xl LTE device.

this problem starts when i use Microsoft edge, particularly while scrolling the webpage.

Its really annoying and killing the reading experience. The apps where i have seen screen flickering are

• Microsoft edge
• one note
• Microsoft word
• uc browser
• camera app

eagerly waiting for a resolution

As per the issue description Microsoft Edge is flickering. Screen flickering in Windows 10 is usually caused by incompatible apps or display drivers. To determine whether an app or driver is causing the problem, check to see if Task Manager flickers.
Then, based on that information, you'll need to either uninstall the app or update the display driver.

Screen flickering in safe mode help!

I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.

  Press Windows key + R
  
• 
  Type msconfig
  
• 
  In msconfig > Boot tab >
  Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
