    Hello,Could you please tell me how to get rid of this flickering screen which I have had ever since I bought this « Cloudbook » in September / October 2019 fortunately, I only use this laptop when going on holidays, and due to the COVID, I haven’t been since November 2019?Nevertheless, I update it now and then and the flickering screen still is there bothering me as ever!Thanks in advance for your kind replyJoelLenovo IdeaPad S130 14" HD Cloudbook - Intel Celeron N4000 Processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC, Windows 10 S- Grey Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L.

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 safe mode

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

    Screen flickering in safe mode help!

    Hi Yasmeentq,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.


    • Press Windows key + R

    • Type msconfig

    • In msconfig > Boot tab >
      Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 is usually caused by incompatible apps or display drivers. I suggest you to refer to the article below and check if it helps.
