Windows 10: “Flight simulator 2020 standard redeemed code OK , MFS launcher install, NOT in Microsoft...

Purchased a DVD version of PC Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard edition 2020 with activation code. Loaded all 10 DVD disks. 93GB and 59119 files Redeemed activation Code. Started Download of software launcher which was unfortunately interrupted before all download completed. Now when I try and reinstall using DISK 1 it boots into Microsoft Store.No Microsoft Flight simulator software launcher in library.Uninstalled and reinstalled again - same problem However got an email notification from Microsoft on product purchase.HELP !!!!!!!

A few observations as long as you're here:

• You asked your question in a Windows 7 forum. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is only for Windows 10. If you attempted to install MFS 2020 on a Windows 7 system, that could account for all sorts of problems.
• Even if you have Windows 10, you need a fairly powerful system to get MFS 2020 to work properly. See, for example,

• Have you restarted your computer since you installed MFS 2020?

i hv purchased microsoft flight simulator 2020 dvd version. i hv downloaded all the 10 dvds, to c:, logged in to my microsoft account, put the 25 character code when asked. the booklet of MFS said a flight stimulator launcher will download automatically once the key is redeemed and the launcher will install the game. But no launcher got downloaded. my microsoft store library says the game is purchased by me. when i hit the "install" button there, it asked me to choose a compatible disk of atleast 123 gb. I choosed a different hard disk g:. In g:, I saw two folders – program files and windows apps. First both the folders did not give permission to open, but I got the permission and saw there are no files in both the folders and they are empty. Other than creating these two folders in g:, nothing happened. Please tell me why the game is not installing and where is the .exe file to run it?

 

How to redeem code in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 in PC?

My game Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard 2020 has downloaded in external memory of 1TB and good network without problem in 10 CD and when webpage Microsoft Store I redeem code, I have problem because say: (We can't find this product. This code no longer works. Contact the retailer or person you got it from.) But the game is new of package in Walmart and don't have these words of insert code: A, E, I, O, U, L, S, 0, 1, 5. Already logged in to my Microsoft account.

I have in my laptop Windows 11. Thank you for the help you can give me.
