Windows 10: Fluctuating GPU

Good evening,I have had problems playing a game, and I got a "low frame rate" warning from the game Total War: Troy, saying that the FPS was less than 30.The external monitor is set to refresh rate of 60Hz.I have a decent laptop - Dell XPS 9730, specs below.Does anyone know why the FPS would drop significantly, when the laptop far exceeds minimum spec for the game which auto selects top end settings for the game.Addition: After further checks, it appears that I have a fluctuating GPU output... from 99% down to 0%, which is possibly/probably the reason for the drop in FPS.Any likely reasons

Understand that you are playing games and daily use of the lag delay and GPU fluctuation of the magnitude of the problem, according to your computer configuration, such a situation is abnormal, if you are after updating the Gpu driver this situation, the first consideration is the driver problem, you can go to the device manufacturer's official website to download the old version of the Gpu driver, annoy you to test it.

GPU usage fluctuating

I own a Lenovo legion 5 pro with a 3070 ti and i7-12700h. I have noticed that on my fps games, i have severe gpu usage fluctuations. As in i can go from 120 fps, to 90 to 110 to 70 in a few seconds. Lowering my settings has not improved the fluctuation. I play a lot of R6 for example and have started playing apex, whenever i move violently my cursor, i get severe lag.

Unfortunately, i have the most recent drivers for both gpu and cpu, and i suspect that the recent gpu drivers have caused this as this was never an issue before. the heat isnt also a really big problem since its winter and my room is getting colder. I also occasionally get lag while typing on my browser which is weird for a pretty good pc.

If you need video proof, ill try and get some.

If anyone has the solution to this problem or any idea really, i'd really appreciate it.

I downloaded the OBSPROJECT software, you had suggested, and after initial testing the brightness fluctuations no longer seems to be an issue.

Updated later same day. Still fluctuating
