Windows 10: "fn + f2" won't dim the screen

Discus and support "fn + f2" won't dim the screen in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; My laptop's manufacturer had assigned the dimming function to its f2 button and the brightening function to its f3 button.     "fn + f2" won't dim the screen


    My laptop's manufacturer had assigned the dimming function to its f2 button and the brightening function to its f3 button. They were both working. But now "fn + f2" have started to reject doing its job. I've tested f2 button itself on GOM Player, it responds. Other functions including "fn + f3" are OK. I've tested f2 button itself on GOM Player, it responds. But together, fn and f2 are disobedient.

    How to dim screen?

    I tried googling Windows Ten, "how to dim screen," but the layout listed is not the layout I have. I just got Ten yesterday. How do you dim the screen?

    I can't even find the options in the Display section.

    How to dim screen?

    How do you dim the screen? One way that I find convenient - even though I have a Fn + key combo on my laptop's keyboard- is to use a key + the scroll wheel on my mouse.

    Download and install Volumouse (free).

    "fn + f2" won't dim the screen [​IMG]


    You can also choose to have the scroll wheel perform a function when the cursor is hovering over the taskbar- no key press.
