Windows 10: Focus assist not functioning, option not available

I like to disable focus assist since it suppress messages from a teams app which I have enable in edge.However the focus assist option is not available on my windows 11 installation.Searched for a solution but up to now nothing helped, worked.Latest I tried was a sfc /scannow and a dism /online cleanup-image with option scanhealth and restorehealth.I have to disable focus assist nearly every half an hour :-

If you turn off Get notifications from apps and other senders, it will disable notifications from everything except Windows system notifications.

Turning on Focus Assist will turn off all notifications until you turn off Focus Assist.
