Windows 10: Focused Inbox for Gmail using Win 10 Mail App

So, I really like the Focused Inbox feature on Win 10 Mail and Outlook. It works for my Outlook and 365 accounts, and it works very well for sorting mail into important, junk (which I don't even see), and everything else in between. For the last year or so, my Gmail on the computer has occasionally - rarely - ALSO applied Focused Inbox. There's no rhyme or reason to when it activates, I just sometimes get the joy of seeing just the 5 emails I care about rather than the 50 I don't.


What's weird to me is that it works just fine on my Android Outlook app. Gmail does focused inbox just fine on there and works all the time. So why doesn't it on the Win 10 Mail app? When I go to the focused inbox settings, my gmail account doesn't even show up in the dropdown menu. This has been an issue across multiple devices (all SP4s). What's going on and how can I fix it? I still prefer dealing with a ton of emails on my desktop rather than on my phone. Thanks!

Focused Inbox for Gmail in Mail App?

Kind of strange, but focused inbox for Gmail appears in one of my computers, but not in another. The Mail app versions are the same, most updated.

So there IS a scenario where the Mail app can do focused inbox for Gmail, can't figure out what is different.
