Windows 10: folder access require permission even though already set as admin

Hello,I use my secondary folder as a location to download files from the internet.Everything is fine until today morning when I suddenly needed "administrator permission to save files to to the folder. This has never happened before in this particular folder.Now, I am unable to paste, cut or do anything to the existing files in these folders.I don't know why it happened.I am already the admin to the files so telling me that I needed to change the settings in the properties would not work.Please help.

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

how an administrator can give permission to access folders

Hi John,

To provide user/s an access to folders, see the steps below on how to do so:

• Right-click on the folder > Security.
• Under the Group or user names option, click on the username that you want to have an access to the folder; then, click on Edit.
• It will show you the page of permissions which you can allow or deny.
• Choose your desired permissions and click on OK.

Trouble in setting access permission folder and files

Hi all

1. Using server windows server 2019, clients : win 7 enterprise & win 10 Pro N

2. Setting sharing folder based on the user access by group and user

(if group A only can access 3 folders and user member of group A stay the same)

3. Setting security permission on sharing folder based on the user access by group and user

(if group A can create new folder, file then update, delete the file and user member of group A stay the same)

4. Permission setting to full control (read, write)

5. After above all setting is done, one of the member group access on sharing folder, can't create new folder, file then update, delete file.

6. If one the member of group is added as Domain Admins, the trouble in creating new folder, file, update, delete file no longer exist but that user can access all folders which not the belongs to that user

Anyone has experience like this ? I've tried so many ways from google, from friends suggestions, no one can solve this problems.
